Squirrelmail help

I've been having some trouble with Squirrelmail on my Debian 3.1 machine and was hoping someone could give me some help or point me in the right direction.

I've downloaded the latest Squirrelmail release and installed it on my box and went through the steps to set it up. I've install Cyrus IMAP as well and configured SM to use it.

However, every time I try logging in I get "Unknown user or password incorrect." I've tried using just the username and username@domain.com.

Is there a seperate group of users that need to be created to have access to SM? Am I not linking SM to IMAP properly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

That's OK. I appreciate the offer to help.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've searched here and on Google for an answer and have hit a wall.

May my lines will help you:
- Did you fully installed some requirements for your cyrus already? sth likes cyrus_sasl...rpms, creating user's mailbox by cyradm commands...
- If yes, try to:
+'cyradm -u yourusername yourmailserver.yourdomain.com'
+verify your pass again
- Che
- If still stuck on trouble, try to look around this carefully: http://www.faqs.org/docs/Linux-HOWTO...adm-HOWTO.html

hoaivuymvn,

Please edit your post to take the link out of a "Code" block where it is messing up the the page width in my browser (& probably several other peoples'). I believe that it will then not only no longer force horizontal scrolling, but will be able to be clicked on. If it is not automatically parsed, then you can always put it in an "http://" block.

Thanks

I use just the username (without domain) for my setup. Did you make sure that the installation was set up with the correct permissions for your web server to access all the squirrelmail files?
