squid "cache.log"


Hi everybody
there are errors in our squid's cache.log as example:
"parseHttpRequest: Unsupported method 'REGISTER'"
I do not know about it,May anyone guide me about this error ??

Thats not a problem, it is a client that is violating the HTTP protocol or trying to run a different protocol over port 80.

The HTTP protocol does not define a REGISTER method.

Is there any way in order to bypass this request from cache that those users can connect to target servers???

What software are these clients using ? They can just turn off the proxy in that unless you are using a transparent proxy.

yes we have transparent proxy in network.Is there any way ???? can we add this method to squid ??
