Splitting !SDN 128k between internet and phone

Sorry if this is not the right forum for this question but I got here by searching on Draytek Minivigor, which is my ISDN modem. I want to set it up so that I can use the phone while I am connected to the internet (that is, be able to drop one 64k channel to let in an incoming call) but I the modem app doesn't have an obvious way to do it. At present it throws up a notification that number nnn-nnnn is trying to call but I can't drop the connection fast enough to answer it. I've tried putting in a delay before the phone goes to voicemail but that doesn't work either.
I can make outgoing calls by turning on the phone though I get a busy signal while the modem drops one channel, then if I hang up and try again I have a dial tone and the other channel keeps the connection tothe ISP.
Any ideas and again sorry if I shouldn't be asking this question here. Slap my wrist and tell me get lost if so.

Are you using Linux with the ISDN modem? Or are you using windows? Also what kinda terminal adapter are you using? I really dont think that there is a peice of software that will solve your problem. You will probably never get it to work right with the termial adapter you have now, you will probably have to get a newer one, some work really well with making phone calls, but mostly the routers have that functionality. The problem is that your termial adapter isnt dropping the line fast enough, you just need to find another one, or get a ISDN router that will work. Good luck its old stuff, check ebay!
