Something Weird happened Yesterday: my WI-FI, my Internet Connection, And other weirness

{I had a stroke in 2011, and am "brain-damaged", sorry}

My WI-FI stopped working IN MY APARTMENT, but once I was at/near the car, my WI-FI started working with my smart-phone, and it from the my WI-FI in my apartment.

So, I moved the WI-FI, but it was too far to allow it to use the Internet, so I moved it back, and reconnected it.

Then I lost ALL INTERNET CONNECTION. unplugged EVERYTHING under my computers, reconnected them all again, then STILL NO INTERNET, and I had a cable leftover, and it doesn't fit any device.

And my external backup drive didn't work either.

{SIGH}

So I went to sleep.

When I woke up in the late morning, and EVERYTHING worked, the Internet, I was able to use my external backup drive, my WI-FI was working in my apartment.

{PS: that mysterious cable is still not attached to anything!}

SO: I didn't do it myself, but the question is:

What happened, why didn't these things not work, and why do things work now???

Anyone have comments, questions, or more importantly, ANSWERS??

Yeah,I guess this is a weird question.

EVERYBODY, have yourself an excellent day!

To make a decent guess we would need to know a BUNCH of things that you clearly do not know to tell us.

Darn hard to troubleshoot a problem that not longer exists! All the clues vanished.

Probably just an outage, or new software being installed to your router remotely.

Well, I am counting my "blessings".
I can now access my Android, yet again. A few weeks before, I had to set it up just outside my apartment.
So, in the end, WINNING!

I curse my stroke, as I am sometimes as dumb as a stump, generally.

To the entire LinuxQuestions community, have yourself a wonderful day!
