I have exactly the same problem.

Tried googling for a solution, but I only find this thread, and another post by a bloke named Tariq asking the same question in the Redhat forums. Bummer that.

Anyone know the solution?

ACASA - Windows server NetBIOS name
192.168.2.1 ?
how do you want to communicate if you are blocking access from anything except 192.168.2.1?
hosts allow = 192.168.2.1

modify the /etc/smb.conf
hosts allow = 192.168.2. <- assuming that samba address is 192.168.2.x. There is dot at the end of the address

For example samba address is 192.168.2.4
smbclient -L ACASA -U username%password -N
above will list windows shares and networked computers
smbclient -L SAMBA_NetBIOS_Name -U username%password -N
will list SAMBA shares and networked computers
So what do you want to do?
