simple DNAT iptables rule doesn't work.


Hi,

i tried this iptables rule in my home network and it works.

But it doesn't network on our campus network.

What should be the problem?

the rule is:
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp -i eth1 --dport 80 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.2.100:80

It is possible the campus network is setup to block common server ports like that.

There are lots of web server in the same network. And without forwarding web server works.
