Question setup a linux router

i want to split up my network so it has 2 IP ranges on it. I want the 1 range to be my office and the other range to be the wireless. i do not need the 2 ranges to see each other but they must both be able to connect to the internet.

I have tried to set it up, with IP forwarding in the /etc/sysctl.conf set to 1.

what else needs to be done. I have not done this is such a long time that i have forgotten.

If anyone could help me or show me a post that i am sure is very similar to this one that would be grate.

does not matter what the IP addresses are as i will have the DHCP on the router and the DHCP running on eth1 for the other network

Thanks

You will also need to set up NAT on the router so that IP addresses from your internal networks are translated into valid addresses on the WAN side of the router. I'll dig out the exact config from my machine when I get home tonight.
