Setting Up a HP JetDirect Printer

I have my HP Colour Laserjet 3600n printer plugged into a port of our router (a Linksys WRT54G), and the printed "Embedded JetDirect Page" then shows the IP Address for the printer, eg, 192.168.1.100. I've then used that address to configure a printer on my FC6 box.

If I re-boot the router, the printer is on a different address, and I have to revisit my FC6's printer configuration to specify its new address. What are my options for not having to re-configure the printer every time the router is re-booted?

TIA,
Jon

Give the printer a static IP address rather than using DHCP. The initial DHCP address used with the jet direct printers is mainly just there as one way to let you make the initial connection so you can give the printer a permanent static address.
