Setting pptp vpn by command line

Hi

I need some help to setup my pptp vpn using command line. Additionally to the ubuntu doc here, I want to setup with the following options that I normally use with the GUI of network manager :

VPN Username : speigel
VPN Password : abc
VPN Hostname : pptp.domain.com
Option 1 : Uncheck all except MSCHAP2
Option 2 : Select 128 bit
Option 3 : Use MPPE
Option 4 : Allow Statefull encryption

Thank you

Assuming you are using OpenVPN, go to openvpn.com (or .org or whatever it is) and look in their quick-install docs. They're really easy to follow and work well.

Look at: http://faq.apollo3.com/ljames/ubuntu/vpn/ .

Let me know how it works. If there are glitches I'd be anxious to hear about them. I believe everything is covered.

By the way, I went the pptpd over openvpn for the Windows compatibility component.
