server behind NAT


I use Fedora 9 in VMWare workstation and it accesses internet through NAT.

I want to use some specific ports as server. How can I do that ???

could you explain this a bit more.??
what port you want to open ?
can the Fedora in VMWARE ping the router >?

I want to use 11000 to 111000 ports

yes it can ping to the router
