Serial Port problem , program work in slackware 12 but do not work in 13.x


I am writing program for communication with digital scale

program work in Slackware 12.2 but do not work in 13 and 13.1
I do not know why, may be I am not setting the serial port in a right way

program write to ttyS0 and than read from it

I am receiving 0 bytes in slack 13

Well, Slackware 13.1 comes with more recent library versions, did you recompile your programm on Slackware13.1?
Any errormessages?
And what do you mean with "does not work" at all?
