Sendmail works.. outbound only :(

i've just setup redhat ES4 and everything seems to be working fine except the email.

I know that the email is working coz i can send out email but i just cant recieve any emails.. i've setup all the mx records.. dns etc.

I have a feeling its something to do with the firewall. I have configured my netgear dsl router to forward all requests on port 25 to my linux server. I've always allowed smtp requests on the redhat firewall but i still cannot recieve any email.

Is there any way i can do some tests to see if any messages reach the machine??

thanks..

Code:
netstat -an | grep :25 | grep tcp

tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

That netstat shows that it is only listening for connections on the loopback interface. You'd need to configure sendmail to listen on eth0 (or whichever interface goes out to the net).
