Dear all,
i have a debian box with sendmail i try webmin to access users mail box the mail server send emails to the local accounts only, i try to send emails outside for Example to yahoo or hotmail nothing was send i also try to write an php script that send email using the local sendmail to send email to my hotmail account and i run it but nothing .
please help.
That DAEMON_OPTIONS only affects incoming mail connections, so leave it enabled if you want local mail delivered locally. You need to change the SMART_HOST line to specify your ISP's SMTP server, recompile sendmail.cf as Pete M suggests and restart sendmail.
