hi.
im setting up mutt as an email client. getting fetchmail working w/ it was a breeze but im having some troubles with sendmail. the thing is that sendmail is running fine and i can send emails but since im using my own smtp server and sending from my isp (@adelphia.net) without it ever even going through the isp, i am basically forging the email address. without completely learning to configure sendmail (that thing is huge) how can i get sendmail to take any outgoing message it gets from mutt and send it to mail.abs.adelphia.net:25 (my isp's smtp server) which will then take care of delivering the message the proper way.
Sendmail is supposed to be intimidating. I might suggest that you take a look at postfix (to replace sendmail). Personally, I find it much easier to use.
