I'm working on setting up a SLES10.2 with Samba 3.0.28 to a smooth integration to our W2K AD.
Lot of questions :-)

Does anyone know what about samba modules?
There is one line on mine different to some found on the net.

My config:
/usr/sbin # smbd -b|grep LDAP

HAVE_LDAP_H
HAVE_LDAP
HAVE_LDAP_ADD_RESULT_ENTRY
HAVE_LDAP_INIT
HAVE_LDAP_INITIALIZE
HAVE_LDAP_SET_REBIND_PROC
HAVE_LIBLDAP
LDAP_SET_REBIND_PROC_ARGS


Found one:

HAVE_LDAP_H
HAVE_LDAP
HAVE_LDAP_DOMAIN2HOSTLIST
HAVE_LDAP_INIT
HAVE_LDAP_INITIALIZE

HAVE_LIBLDAP

Third line is different and I'd like to know what's on to come, step by step, to a happy end.
