Angry samba with MS server 2003

I am running 3 machines running redhat 9, win xp pro, and server 2003. when on redhat i can see my domain controll server 2003 and win xp machine, i can not access shares on the server 2003 but i can see the shares on the win xp machine. When on the windows machines i can see the samba localhost, but i am unable to log into it. so i know they see each other but i have no idea what is going wrong. i think it may be something to do with authentication but encryption is on. any ideas what to look for or what to do? any other questions about the setup feel free to ask looking for any help. you can email me at nickbritton@alltel.net

thanks

Nick
