Samba Permissions?

I need to be able to read all subdirectories in /home that are shared via samba's HOMES directory.

Essentially, I want to share /home and have everything readable by a single user.

any ideas?

Thanks in advance

the default permissions on home directories are rwx------.

That is, only the user can read write and execute within their directory. You may need to change these permissions to let another group members access it or other users etc.

hope this helps...
