i am using samba as my PDC

i want to creat a share that everyone can access

how might i do this?

[shared]
read only = no
path = /home/shared
comment = shared directory
browsable = yes

what else? cuz at the moment no one has access to it

unless i chown user /home/shared

then that user has write access but no one else

add this line

guest ok = Yes

This will allow everyone to access the share without needing a username or password.

you may have to set the security for that share to share

security = SHARE

I am not sure if this will work though since the security I set is under the global parameters [global]
