samba mount problem

hi all,

i am using RH9. i have some problems with mounting a windows share using smbmount.

the first problem is i cannot mount a share in windows XP. even if user is Administrator
an access denied error occurs...
but can access linux shares from XP.
what may be the problem ...

The second problem is when mounting a share in windows98.
it works only for the first time.
ie after unmounting the share i cannot mount the same share again to the same mount point

the command i used is

smbmount //win98/d/ /mnt/network username=administrator -o guest

this command works for the first time. after unmounting
ie smbumount /mnt/network.
issuing the same command not work.
the prompt is not dispalyed unless the CTRL+C is pressed
bu the mounting works..

if i write a shell script the execution stop at the smbmount command..

pls help
thanks in advance
