samba help, trying to set up a server


i'm trying to set up samba.

my smb.conf files is

[gobal]
workgroup = LINUX
[test]
comment = For testing only, please
path = /usr/samba/test
read only = no
guest ok = yes

i typed http://localhost:901 in my web browser and it told my connection refused.

????????????????

You can't access Samba shared directories with a web browser. Well, technically you could put "\\ServerName" into Internet Explorer, and it should get you there.

But normally, you use the "Network Places" menu from a Windows machine and find the Samba server on the network to browse the shares.
