samba guru?

Hello out there...

Environment - RH 6.2 to 7.2 and NT 4.0 Server + Workstation.

Linux file sharing servers (NIS, NFS, and Samba).

Hoping to get some good feedback on what to lookout for when migrating from a NT domain to a AD Win2K network in regards to RH Linux and NIS/NFS/SAMBA.

Can you point in the right direction for some good Linux (preferably RH) documentation that tackles this issue straight-on?

Can you provide some useful tips that are "often-overlooked" during migration process?

Being a novice user but expected to be able to carry out this migration process, as you can imagine, is quite overwhelming.

I know I'm going to get good feedback regarding this post - not being cocky but knowing you guys ROCK! This is a great drinking well for getting good Linux help. Thanks in advance for your input!

Rob

The samba website has all the docs you should need along with the man pages - eg:
man smb.conf

For WinNT, 2k and XP make sure you have machine acounts created as well if you intend to run a domain controller.
