Samba Client ---join---> Active Directory

Hello,

Ive been trying to add my laptop(samba client) to the local Active Directory domain they have implemented here at school. My laptop is running Samba 2.2.7a. Before I can use the internet here, i have to login with my student credentials. And because my laptop is linux only, I dont know how to go about doing that.

From what I heard, Samba3 is capable of doing just so, its just that there are no clear tutorials on doing this.

Any helpful links or suggestions would be awesome.

Thanks

Stakhous
