Samba can't disable printing and errors in logs

I've got a samba server which has no printing, nor do I want any but I can't seem to disable it. I've already got the following in my global section of the smb.conf file:
Code:
   load printers = no
   printing = none
   disable spoolss = yes
I tried the first line by itself, reloaded, nothing, then added the second and reloaded, then the third and reloaded, but I still get errors in my logs
Code:
[2006/09/29 16:03:26, 0] printing/print_cups.c:cups_cache_reload(85)
  Unable to connect to CUPS server localhost - Connection refused
How do I make this thing shut up and not complain?
