Samba and Wins resolution Problem

hi ,
i have a littele wins resolution Problem with my samba 3.0.1 server. The Problem is
if i want to add a static entry in the wins.dat file containing a "$" like this:

"WS$GOOOL#00" 0 192.168.0.4 64R
"WS$GOOOL#20" 0 192.168.0.4 64R

now the WINS works fine so for only this static entry containing the "$" does not work.

Can anyone give me a hint please?

This r the workarounds i tried jet:

"WS\$GOOOL#00" 0 192.168.0.4 64R
"WS\$GOOOL#20" 0 192.168.0.4 64R

"WS'$'GOOOL#00" 0 192.168.0.4 64R
"WS'$'GOOOL#20" 0 192.168.0.4 64R

'WS$GOOOL#00' 0 192.168.0.4 64R
'WS$GOOOL#20' 0 192.168.0.4 64R

.... i have no idea now and really could need some help and plz dont tell me to change the Name with the $ ... i cant do that!
