Unhappy S010600* and networking...

my problem, always start that way

my hostname used to be clean, now it's long and impossible to override it.
Part of my hostname is now S010600____________.--.******.net
I saw that in my computers, all my addresses began with S010600 and they are not all linux! AND other computer in my subnet begins with S010600, not just mine.

Any experience I can learn from so I can correct this.

My internet provider doesn't support linux users, they can't help me.
Internet still works, just not the hostname...
