routing problem

hello to all,
I am using mandrake 8.2 with two lan cards. etho(192.168.10.70) and eth1(192.168.10.80) . when i type route it show eth1 as default route.
how to make pppo as default route.what file should i edit to make the changes permanent.

Firstly, you dont want both of your lan cards sitting on the same vlan as this could just provide more confusion than it is worth. Use either eth0 or eth1 and disable the other one OR set the second one to a different vlan, eg. 192.168.11.1, and have iptables redirect traffic between them if necessary.

Secondly, when ppp comes up the routing table should automatically be changed to make ppp0 the gateway to any vlan that is not 192.168.10
Packets to say Google (66.249.87.99) will be redirected to ppp0 rather than 192.168.10.70.

Use the route command in a konsole/terminal to display the routing table when you bring up ppp0.
