router/private server linux box

Ok, I finally did. I got my linux ip-masquerading, but my problem is that I also want to run apache in the linux box that can only be access through my lan address (192.168.1.xxx). Is it possible to have apache only accessible to my network only?

For nearly any network setup that doesn't firewall TCP port 80, you can set up Apache httpd to be visible from the same set of machines that can ping you, I guess.

And even in a network setup that filters http traffic on the port 80/TCP, it is surely possible.

If you control everything - yes. If there is you provider's router in between - there is a risk that something will not work.

I donot have much of an idea about apache but if you configure your apache to listen it at only your LAN ip, it would'nt be possible for others(other class) to see & connect to it. (if you do not specificially set routing to grant the access to)

Code:
Listen 192.1681.x:80
