Hi,
Did anyone use linux to configure a router like using HyperTerminal with
WIndows ? Which emulator to use (vt100 ?) and how to configure
the port. Thanks for help
What type or router? If it is just a home router from linksys, dlink or any number of other manufacturers you log into the router by typing the ip address into a web browser. If it is a cisco or another more complex router that may be different. You may just be able to ssh in. Provide some more info about the router and someone may be able to help a little more.
I use the minicom program. Use minicom -s to setup up serial port settings to match the router, then there is a choice to save, then minicom -o the start minicom up without trying to initialize a modem.
