This is my scenario:
My server is running all day just fine. I go home for the night and come back in the morning. There is no activity during the night except for people trying to drop code red on my server.
I start up my win2k workstation and cannot connect to my mapped server drive. I cannot ping my server both ip and internet ip. I cannot SSH from here. I goto my website and says page cannot be found. I then SSH from linuxbox. I can get into my server. That somehow kickstarts networking or something and I can now SSH/network neighborhood/goto my site/etc. All is good now. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? I have never seen a problem like this using redhat 6.2. It happens all the time when i first come in in the morning. BUT that doesnt mean that its not happening during the day also.

Hey...
Whcih network Card U are using?. Some network card having Wakeon facility. SOme time these cards doesnot work properly.
Pls check it.
