Question Redhat Enterprise 6 Routing issue

I am having a problem getting routing to work between two subnets with a Redhat Enterprise 6 box acting as the router. There are two seperate subnets configured on the box.

eth0 = 192.168.2.1
eth1 = 192.168.3.1

Both are working of a 24 bit subnet mask. On the Redhat box I have configured routing using route-eth0 and route-eth1.

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route-eth0 is configured as:

GATEWAY1=192.168.2.1
NETMASK1=255.255.255.0
ADDRESS1=192.168.2.0

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route-eth0 is configured as:

GATEWAY1=192.168.3.1
NETMASK1=255.255.255.0
ADDRESS1=192.168.3.0

Clients on the 192.168.2.0 subnet are able to ping anything on their local subnet and can even ping the other nic on the router (192.168.3.1) but are unable to ping anything else on the 192.168.3.0 subnet save for the above mentioned IP. The reverse is true of all clients on the 2.0 subnet.

I'm hopefull this is just something simple and would appricate any assistance in pinpointing the issue. Thanks,

Have you made any changes to the iptables firewall rules to allow this?

No, I haven't done anything yet with IP tables. I'll make the needed updates to iptables and see. Thanks,
