Redhat 8.0 bonding Problem

Help,

I have a redhat 8.0 server with 2 nics, running the following IP's
10.0.0.10
10.0.0.11

both pluged into a standard 8 port switch for my home network.

I reconfigured the networks cards to run as bond0 with the ip 10.0.0.10
so I have three interfaces configured bond0 and the 2 nics all with the same IP. However my network ground to halt, so I'm was woundering if you need a special router or some thing or have it just got it setup wrong.

Thanks
Keith.
