read TX and RX live statistics from serial port


Hello, i have 2 serial ports in my device, for each port i have tty's: /dev/ttySC0 /dev/ttySC1, i want to obtain in real time TX and RX statistics for each port and turn TX / RX leds in device occording to this statistics, will glad for any help, how to get TX/RX statistics??

Why on earth do you want serial stats? Serial is usually more primitive than that.
