connect to? you mean get an ip address from it? use a program like netconfig and set that interface to use the DHCP prootocol. shouldn't be anything more to it really.
and you should really upgrade from 7.0, that's dead dead old.
ok now am upgraded to redhat 8.0
and lost my connection . i knew i should have kept mandrake 7.0 but here we go again...will let ya'll know how it goes with the big update but last time i ran redhat it would not support my ethernet card, but maybe ...just maybe this time i did it right
I had to upgrade to a 2.4 kernal before I could get the rtl8139 module to work.
2.4 kernal has it compilled in. Mandrake 8.2 works well and but why not go to 9.0, that is what I use with no probs.
If you're going to upgrade, Mandrake 9.1 will be out in few weeks. Might wait for that one. It has fixes for some bugs in 9.0. Just my thought on the matter. I have 9.0 and I may still go to 9.1.
I started a large printing job in ghostview and I want to terminale the job
I went to cups www admin tool and tried to cancel the job
I get a client-error-forbidden message.
I logged in as root and it did the same.
How do I cancel the print jobs at the console or anywhere else.
