qpopper RedHat 9

Hello Again,

Trying to get qpopper working on my box. Mail is flowing back and forth just fine. I just want to be able to pop also. Here is my xinetd.conf service for pop3:

service pop3
{
socket_type = stream
protocol = tcp
wait = no
user = root
server = /usr/sbin/popper
server_args = qpopper -s
}

Looks ok? maybe?

I get an error containing "0x800ccc0f" from Outlook XP when I try to pop my mail form my server. If I telnet to my server on 110, i get nothing but a black screen. Before 110 was open on my box I would get a message indicating could not connect. now that it is open I get just a blank screen. Shouldn't I be seeing a banner or something?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
