QOS: tc tbf problem....NAN Mbit

Hello all,

I'm rolling my own busybox linux system.

I've got (QoS)Quality of Service built in using
(tc)Traffic Control. However, it isn't
controlling the flow.

Code:
#
# tc qdisc change dev eth0 root tbf rate 0.5mbit burst 5kb latency 70ms
#
# tc -s qdisc
qdisc tbf 8006: dev eth0 root refcnt 2 rate nanMbit burst 2147483647b lat nans
 Sent 0 bytes 0 pkt (dropped 0, overlimits 0 requeues 0)
 backlog 0b 0p requeues 0
#
# uname -a
Linux 2.6.38.2 #254 Fri Jun 17 08:58:58 BST 2011 mips GNU/Linux
#
I'm guessing that nanMbit is a sign of the problem. I'm thinking that I'm missing something in the kernel which is resulting in 'Not A Number' meaning that QoS is not working.

Any Ideas?

Thanks!

MB

This is probably a stupid reply...

Could nanMbit be a variable in your config script?

Maybe is should be "$nanMbit"
