PUP - PARC Universal Packet

Hey there. I have been reading up on my networking technology history, and I especially have an interest in protocols. I was wondering if there were any Old Timers around here who had ever worked on or with one of those Ethernet/PUP networks from the 1970s. Or maybe some nostalgic hobbyist who keeps the PUP protocol alive in his basement...? I'm fishing for an interesting story.
