Yesterday I updated a firmware of my wifi router (small black box with antenna). The router is managed via web browser at address 192.168.1.100. I opened Mozilla Firefox connected to the router, but a 'home.asp' application - an interface one can to set up a configuration - running on the router didn't work properly. When I tried to change some settings, and eg. clicked a confirmation button nothing happened. I solved the problem staring Windows and making a connection using IE - this time that home.asp application did OK. The question is what may caused problems? A bug in this app or in general *.asp applications don't communicate well with browsers other than IE or simply they don't 'like' Linux?

Did you try with other browser - Epiphany, Lynx or Konqueror

Only with Seamonkey - but it is the same engine - the application uses JavaScript to build user interface - no idea if Lynx has a JavaScript plugin - it seems it doesn't. Epiphany - no. Konqueror - I guess it depends on which version, but also no. Only Mozilla Firefox and Seamonkey.

Any plugins in firefox that could cause the problem?

I din't think about that. But is a Mozilla out of box - I mean as it is shipped with Slackware 13.1. I didn't add plugins. In fact I installed Mozilla only to have a web access to the router. Not for a web surfing.

And what about in windows + Firefox? Is this happen again?

Never tested. My windows is only for playing games - I never have a reason to install Mozilla Firefox on windows. And as you know IE is a part of the system. My windows in fact has no route to internet.
