Problems with eth0 interface

Hi all,

I had a problem in the past with Red Hat 9, on connecting to the internet via ethernet.

The problem was that the driver for my adapter didn't exist on the list.

The driver for my ethernet adapter is Broadcom 4401 . It works in Mandrake 9.2, but why not in Red Hat?

I asked this because now I'm downloading Fedora, and I hope I'm not spending all my time on downloading it, if the result is the same as Red Hat 9. How can I solve my problem?

I don't think Redhat came with the particular driver like Mandrake, a search would have found this thread which will point you to getting a driver for this card: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...003/05/4/37286

And I'm unsure off the top of my head if Fedora comes with this driver natively, etc, but downloading and installing the driver should work.
