Problem mounting SMB shares...

Hey,

I'm having problems mounting my smb shares. In order to mount them I run smbmount //student/share /mnt/share -o username=username password=password but when I do that it asks me for a password anyway. I want it to automatically log in because I want to add this to my rc.local startup files, but I don't want it to stop the boot until I put it in. How do I make this work? I've also tried using credentials but thats a no go, it woln't log in any way doing that.... any ideas?

I hope that is only a typo, but put a comma between =username,password=
