Problem...


This is a small problem. I believe most ppls can solve it...just tat i need quick ans.

I've got only 1 LAN port on my table wall. I power up a hub and pluck my PC LAN cable in the hub and the other LAN cable into the LAN port on the wall. The PC to hub cable is lighting up and not the hub to wall LAN port. wat is happening ?

pls advise

Sounds to me like you need to use the uplink port from your desktop hub to the wall, as you are really linking two hubs together. If you don't have an uplink port you'll need a cross over cable.
