pppoe dialed twice - I got ppp0 and ppp1

On Slackware-current

I had a case where pppoe dialed twice, two seperate PID. And I had two seperate IPs on ppp0 and ppp1

Hardware Specs:
P3-500MHz
512Mbyte RAM
ADSL Modem DLINK DSL-500G configured as modem only (disabled the router).

This are some theoratical question rather then trying to get problem fixed.

I can ping using both interface ppp0 and ppp1,
monitored it using netwatch -e ppp0 and netwatch -e ppp1.
I do have problem with NAT through ppp1, could not get out because can't resolve domain name. I am sure this can be fix.

Is it possible for me to bond the two interface together to get double the speed? This is highly tempting. Is it illegal?

Anybody heard of this before?

Hmm.. pretty pointless to be able to have two ppp interface.

I can't get it to download stuff.

wget --bind-address=XX.XX.XX.XX URL

Can't connect. But can ping using ping -I ppp1 domain
