Exclamation Port forwarding using IPtables

I am fairly new to Linux administration but I do have some experience and knowledge on Linux. What I am trying to figure out is how to set an external static IP address to forward to an internal static IP address. Here is an example:

Linux box (slackware) IP address =
eth0: 10.xxx.xxx.xxx (internal)
eth1: xxx.xxx.xxx.170
eth1.0: xxx.xxx.xxx.171
eth1.1: xxx.xxx.xxx.172

DVR system that I need to forward to: IP address =
xxx.xxx.xxx.251
xxx.xxx.xxx.252

This was all setup by someone else whom I have never spoken with. The IP tables seems to be set up but I cannot provide a screen shot at this time. What I need to do is this. When a user connects to the external static IP address of xxx.xxx.xxx.171 with their DVR software, IP tables will forward to the DVR system at xxx.xxx.xxx.251. The ports desired are 554,555,556, and 557. I know some about Linux but not about IPtables. Please offer as detailed information as possible (I know I haven't given alot of information) and I will forever be thankful!

The amount of words in capital letters and exclamation points is inversely related to the amount of help that others are willing to give you.

EDIT: You didn't have to re-post. You could just have edited the title.

I was only trying to draw attention to my post so that I can get help. I am in real need of help on this one and sort of time crunched is all. I was not aware that was a no-no on these forums (having posted on forums much before). I tried to edit the post but did not see where I could edit the title.

It probably would help if you posted the rules.

Code:
iptables -L -v

Thanks andrewthomas, I will try to as soon as I can if I am able. This is a temporary side job that will turn into a full part time job or possible a better paying full time job if I can pull this off. Saying that, I am not sure if I will be able to post them but I will try. Thanks.

I closed the second thread. Please post only one thread per problem. Thanks.
