port 882


Hi All,

i have run nmap and have found port 882 is open on one of my RH9 servers.
have done a search on google and come up with 0.

anyone known

Log into that machine and run:

fuser -v 882/tcp

To find out what process has it open.

The lsof command can also give you this information.

Now that a can id the port it is no longer in use.
