pop3 (ipop3 from imap rpm on mdk9.2) always reports 0 messages

Hi there,

My system is Mandrake 9.2
installed the IMAPs servers RPMs which include ipop3 service.

This service seems to work and respond correctly ( tested with telnet on port 110 and loggin)

But the ipop3 server always says that there is no messages in mailbox. I have sent several
mails to test it without any errors reported by the client email app ( such as netscape/mozilla/kmail clients)

The test messages has been sent sucessfully.
===>
I have configured the server (postfix) to be the hostname of my machine.
I mean: tuxos.homelinux.org thus *user*@tuxos.homelinux.org is working ( it seems) because
the client email apps report no errors again...( I know I'm repeating my self :-)
<===

Where are my messages ( nevertheless the mailbox bound to the ipop3 service ???)
I need hints I dunno if I must define an MX alias somewhere in my DNS definition files... I don't feel like to destroy anything related to DNS, creating a local DNS node since my IP is obtained with my ISP's DHCP server... And I don't have any local network. So I won't touch anything about that... anyway I don't think it is related to a DNS::MX problem : the service IS working .

It seems it is only its mailbox ...
It might be a silly missing config step but I have no clue...

Thanks in advance for the time you spent to read this very long question...
