Hi everyone, I am new here and new to the world of Linux. I am having a really hard time getting my laptop on to my internal LAN. It seems like Red Hat is seeing the socket for the PCMCIA Card but won't configure the actual ethernet card. My current configuration is: Linksys NP100 Fast Ethernet 10/100 PCMCIA Card, on a Gateway Solo 9300 Laptop. Thanks everyone!!!
These are the drivers for the pcmcia bus itself. Was this lsmod done with the Linksys card in? If so its not recognizing it for some reason. You might want to try "dmesg" right after inserting the card to see what goes wrong in binding the driver.
