Question Password Message Box when accessing linux box from Window Machine


Good day..

How do i configure my Samba Server & set a password to the folder that i wanted to share out to be password protected when a window machine trying to access it...

try this one cmd=command

create a user cmd : adduser <username>
create passwd for the user cmd: smbpasswd -a <username>
edit the smb.conf file and create a directory or use gui mode and got samba server settings and set the directory and
and click on the check box of the <username>
