Password expiry

Thanks for all the help received on this particular issue. Somehow I am still facing with this problem.

I had set the password expiry on the user login to expire on X day. I am expecting a warning message to appear on my screen on the X day to inform of the expiry.

I connects to Linux server via a Win9x workstation. Will there be any pops-up on WS or it will only prompt if I login directly on the server.

Thanks
