Openvpn and netstat

When the centos is running a vpn server, there 's a client connecting.

The connection can't be seen by

netstat -tunp

Any advice? Thanks!

I have an OpenVPN server set up, and don't have any of the connected clients come up in netstat. You can see who is connected from where in the file /etc/openvpn/openvpn-status.log though.

You can also try:

lsof -i -n -P

Thanks for the above replies.

lsof only list 1194port is listening, but can't see the established connection. Other connections, for instance, SSH, is possible there.

Is it because my Openvpn services is running UDP instead of TCP who hasn't session control?

Let me try and post later.

Yes, of course, if it uses UDP.
You can also install "iftop" - it will show if anything goes to UDP port.
