ok i think im close to getting mandrake to route, help please

im running mandrake 9.0
i have configured my ipchains and i am on the net with my linux box,
all my ip's are set correctly i think,
but when i go into netconf and click on firewall and masquerade it says no next to the check box

i think its all setup correctly,
but i cant get a windows me machine to route onto the net,
what ip addresses should i give the windows me machine if any?
or just use dchp on the machine to auto configure?

should i define a gateway on the windows machine?
should i define dns on the windows machine?

thanks

Well, you need the masquerading to allow packets to get back into the lan...

The workstations on the lan need your Mandy's lan ip number as their gateway setting.

For name browsing, you must have a dns set. Use the ISP's supplied numbers...
