nsd3 out of zone data

hi, on my debian 6 server, i try to add a new A record for a server that is not on the same network as my nsd server

on nsd.conf, i changed these
Code:
zone:
	name: 119.62.180.in-addr.arpa
	zonefile: abcd.com.reverse
to these
Code:
zone:
	name: 119.62.180.in-addr.arpa
	zonefile: abcd.com.reverse01

zone:
        name: 118.170.110.in-addr.arpa
        zonefile: abcd.com.reverse02
i added this in abcd.com.forward
Code:
turnip	IN	A	80.110.170.118
ran
Code:
nsdc rebuild
and got
Code:
abcd.com.reverse02:12: error: out of zone data
abcd.com.reverse02:14: error: out of zone data
SOA record not present in 118.170.110.in-addr.arpa.
zonec: error writing the database (/var/lib/nsd3/nsd.db.6085): Success
/var/lib/nsd3/nsd.db is unmodified
where did it gone wrong?

any tips or hints are welcomed.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with nsd, but it looks similar to bind. So, if you have hosts with IPs like 80.110.170.x, then the reverse zone name is 170.110.80.in-addr.arpa. and not 118.170.110.in-addr.arpa.

Regards
